The housing crisis is felt most acutely at the local level, as foreclosures and falling home values continue to threaten neighborhood stability. Local governments and community organizations are dealing with the brunt of the housing crisis – and they have been called upon to find creative solutions with few financial resources. This panel presents a range of local perspectives and responses from public agencies, community development groups, and legal service providers.
